Welcome to Wrotham School
`Learn to think, Strive to know`

Wrotham is a Specialist Humanities school with English as our lead subject.  We value the ability to communicate and develop productive working relations.

The motto ‘Learn to Think, Strive to Know’ reflects our learning values.  We achieve our aims with a supportive environment  where  everyone  is  valued.

A Wrotham School pupil is motivated, independent, confident and well qualified to take their place in the adult world.

David Day - Headteacher

After a full consultation with the School Council, students and Governors I am pleased to announce the uniform changes below are the ones voted for by the majority of students.  In summary the major changes are Blazers for Girls

With effect from Wednesday 5th September 2007 all girls in Years 7 - 10 inclusive will wear a School blazer with the Wrotham Logo.  This brings girls uniform in line with boys.  The winter uniform of white shirts and ties remain for both boys and girls with plain black v neck jumpers as an optional addition. (operates from Term 1 until the end of Term 4.  Year 11 girls are exempt from this.

The summer uniform in Terms 5 and 6 has the Grey Wrotham Polo Shirt for boys.  Girls who already have Grey Polo Shirts may continue to wear them, but they are to be replaced with the alternative plain white open necked blouse. The uniform is designed to be cost effective and sensible.  School Ties and Blazer Badges may be purchased from the School Office at a price of £3.00 each. (if you choose to purchase a plain black Blazer) Alternatively, we will take orders for the Wrotham School Blazer, or any other items as

detailed on the attached order form by 17th July.
