Covering your costs at Staffordshire University
From September 2006 the way UK full-time undergraduate students pay for their education will change.
Staffordshire University - like most universities - will be charging L3,000 a year tuition fees for full-time undergraduate degrees and L2,100 for full-time Foundation degree, HND and Year Zero students in 2006.
Tuition fee loans
The good news is you can apply to your local education authority for the exact amount of fee loan to cover your tuition fees and best of all your student loan repayments only begin when you’ve graduated and are earning an annual salary of L15,000 or more. What’s more you are entitled to apply for a tuition fee loan regardless of your household income.
Interest on the tuition fee loan will be kept as low as possible – charged in line with inflation.
However, please note that if you have a previous honours degree (or a certain amount of previous study) then you may not be eligible for a tuition fee loan (or may only get it for some years of your study).
