Prospectuses
You have a number of choices when it comes to selecting the level of qualification you want to achieve. Your decision will depend on many factors, such as your previous qualifications or experience, your chosen career path and how far you want to specialise in a particular subject at this stage. The mode of study that would best match your lifestyle or aspirations is a perfect subject for discussion at one of our Open Days.
At Anglia Ruskin University we offer you a wide range of undergraduate courses including: single and combined honours degrees; Higher National Diplomas and Higher National Certificates; Negotiated Undergraduate Awards for students with previous higher education credits; Foundation Degrees as a vocational route within higher education; and courses for professional development.
Anglia Ruskin University offers a diverse range of postgraduate courses at different levels across all of the faculties of study. The programme includes postgraduate taught courses and professional courses as well as research degrees.
Most learning at Anglia Ruskin University is delivered in units of study called 'modules'. All modules have a credit volume and level. This enables them to be easily accumulated in a variety of ways to make up recognised qualifications or 'awards'. A modular system allows assessment to be spread throughout your studies. In most courses there are modules which must form the core of your studies. In most courses, you will have some choice over the rest of your modules, often with the chance to take modules from other subject areas and/or to learn a foreign language. In this way, the modular system gives you a huge range of flexible options enabling you to focus your studies in areas most appropriate to your needs.
