Disability Support
Support for students with disabilities or additional learning needs is provided by the Additional Learning Needs Service (ALNS).
An "Additional Learning Need" may include:
- Specific learning difficulties/differences such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia
- Mobility impairments, for example wheelchair use
- Sensory impairments such as deafness/hearing impairment, blindess/visual impairments
- Mental health issues such as depression, stress, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder
- Medial conditions like diabetes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, ME or chronic fatigue syndrome, asthma
- Developmental disorders, e.g. Asperger's Syndrome, Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder
