Courses cover areas as diverse as elderly care, cancer care, leadership and management and maternal health.
The Faculty of Education at UWE run a variety of professional development courses aimed at both teaching and non-teaching roles. A diverse range of programmes are available for those who work as a teacher, learning support assistant, in careers guidance or teach in further or adult education.
The Faculty of Law offers a range of opportunities for developing areas of legal specialisation. Our open learning Legal Practice Course and our Bar Vocational Course are two of our most popular career development courses.
Our Faculty of the Built Environment offers a broad choice of professional development and short courses covering areas such as planning and regeneration, transport, housing, community and crime. Some involve attending workshops or lectures, whilst others involve distance learning using the internet and materials sent by post.
