OUR SCHOOL Ysgol Gellifor is a Community Primary School, which opened in 1868 and was remodelled in 1986/87. A further extension of the classroom accommodation was completed in 1996. The school caters for both boys and girls whose ages are between 4 and 11 years. A nursery unit is also established at the school, which receives children who are 3 years of age for 5 sessions per week. A “Handbook for Parents” is available.
The medium of instruction is English, but all pupils study Welsh as a second language and children whose home language is Welsh receive additional instruction in Welsh.
