Welcome to Coppice Primary School

We are a Primary and Nursery school for 3-11 year olds based in Derbyshire.

Coppice Primary school is a friendly, hard working school situated in Marlpool in the suberbs of Heanor, overlooking Shipley Park.  We have a varied catchment area consisting of privately owned, council and housing association accommodation.  The school has extensive grounds that include areas laid to grass and playground.  We also have a tyre park and trim track in the school grounds.

We are extremely proud of all that goes on here.

As our website demonstrates, the children at Coppice are supported in their learning by dedicated staff, governors and parents.

If you would like to become a member or just help out from time to time then please let us know.  You can just turn up at any meeting. 

We try to make our meetings last no longer than one hour and try to vary the time of day in order that everyone can have the opportunity to attend meetings.  You are not expected to attend every time and if you cannot attend meetings but can help out then that is of great help too, especially things like setting up and tidying away. 

If you would like a copy of the Minutes to be emailed to you please send your name and email address to janebeardsley@msn.com.  We do this to support the schools ECO policy but if you do not have access to a computer for email purposes just ask at school and a paper copy can be obtained.
