UNIFORM

GIRLS' UNIFORM - YEARS 7 - 11

General Requirements

  • Dark navy blue blazer, with school badge.
  • Dark grey wool/polyester or viscose/polyester tailored straight style knee length skirt or dark grey wool/polyester or viscose/polyester tailored straight style trousers. Black only belt if required. Cord, cotton and denim trousers are not accepted.
  • Plain white, long or short sleeved cotton/polyester blouse (with collar) to be worn with either the Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 school tie. Leisure shirts are not acceptable.
  • Plain navy blue cardigan or V-necked pullover (not polo neck or buttoned).
  • Plain black leather type shoes of sensible design with low heels. Fashion boots or sandals are not suitable.
  • Plain socks in white, navy or black or plain, navy or black tights.
  • Navy, dark or medium blue or black outdoor coats, with or without high visibility identification. Multi-coloured badges or slogans are not acceptable. Denim or leather are not suitable.
  • Hairstyles - any extreme fashion cuts or styles and unnatural colours are not appropriate for school. Hair accessories must be either black or navy.
  • Jewellery and make-up - 1 pair of plain stud earrings is permitted. These must be taken out for PE and the security of these is the responsibility of the student. For reasons of health and safety no other forms of jewellery, other than a wristwatch, are allowed. The use of very light make-up is acceptable, but bright colours, heavy eye and lip make-up are not appropriate for school.
  • Lapel badges, other than school badges, are not permitted.

Requirements for Physical Education

It is important that all items listed below are clearly named:

  • Towel
  • Pale blue short sleeved polo shirt with school emblem
  • White trainers or track shoes (baseball boots are not acceptable).
  • Navy blue shorts with school emblem
  • Football boots and socks - navy with light blue tops
  • Thick navy blue pullover or navy blue sweatshirt with school emblem or navy blue track suit (for use in cold weather)
  • Optional - tennis whites
  • Students representing the school in team sports will be required to wear a navy blue wrapover skirt with pleated back in Terylene/Sarille by Gymflex

BOYS' UNIFORM - YEARS 7-11

  • Plain white or grey shirt (with collar) to be worn with either the Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 school tie. Leisure shirts are not accepted.
  • Plain V-necked navy blue pullover (not polo neck or buttoned).
  • Plain black shoes (not training shoes, brown or multi-coloured shoes, studded boots or shoes).
  • Plain grey, navy or black socks (not white).
  • Navy, dark or medium blue or black outdoor coats, with or without high visibility identification. Multi-coloured badges or slogans are not acceptable. Denim or leather are not suitable.
  • Hairstyles - long hair, extreme fashion cuts and styles are not appropriate for school, nor are unnatural colours, tints or streaks.
  • 1 pair of plain stud earrings is permitted. These must be taken out for PE and the security of these is the responsibility of the student. For reasons of health and safety no other forms of jewellery, other than a wristwatch, are allowed.

  • For summer games - white cricket shirt / navy blue shirt with school emblem, white cricket flannels or white shorts, cricket boots or white trainers, white socks
