  • We aim to provide a welcoming, secure, friendly, caring School, which will encourage the development of confident, caring and accomplished children.

  • We aim to develop a keen and well motivated attitude to learning where each child is helped to achieve their full potential.

  • We aim to help shape the moral and spiritual development of each child promoting attitudes of citizenship, kindness, tolerance, self discipline, perseverance, respect and self esteem.

  • We aim to provide a broad, balanced, well taught curriculum.

  • We aim to provide a wide range of experiences.

  • We acknowledge staff as educational professionals working in partnership with parents to achieve the very best for our children.

  • We aim to provide a School that is well managed and maintained with good resources.

Understandably, the abilities and stages of development of each pupil vary.  In order to provide the very best learning opportunities for each child, the staff use a variety of proven teaching methods including class lessons, groups, individual teaching, first hand experience and problem solving.

Each class is under the care and direction of the Class Teacher for subjects and activities in the curriculum.  Some changes may occur in areas such as PE.

We structure the curriculum and teaching methods to develop the best possible standards in basic academic skills.  In addition we provide real opportunities for the development of expressive and creative abilities.

 A Balanced Curriculum

We teach a broad and balanced curriculum that incorporates all the subjects of the National Curriculum.
