The college has gone under a staffing restructure, which began in January 2007, in order to comply to the new demands placed upon schools and colleges throughout the country.
A review took place to put the emphasis on learning and staffing to meet the learning needs of pupils at the college. Consideration also took into account significant staff changes and a new curriculum model necessary for the future.
The new faculties are:
- Modern Foreign Languages
- Visual and Creative Arts: Media, Art
- Faculty of Culture: Geography, History, RE/PSHE, Careers
- Performing and Expressive Arts: Drama, Music, PE, Dance
