During their time at the school all children study the agreed National Curriculum. This consists of four core subjects, information technology, English, maths and science and six foundation subjects, history, geography, music, art, technology, and physical education.
The Foundation Stage, which begins at the age of three, prepares children for learning in Key Stage 1 and is consistent with the National Curriculum programmes of study taught at this level.
Children spend the last year of the foundation stage in the reception class within school.
Throughout the year groups, it is recognised that children learn at a different pace so each teacher plans accordingly so that lessons show a match to ability and a differentiation of expectation.
