Our aims are based on the five outcomes outlined in ‘Every Child Matters' delivered within a Christian Ethos.
To ensure that every child has the opportunity, through physical development, mental and emotional education and support, to learn what it really means to be healthy.
To learn what it means to be safe through our ‘Personal, Social and Health Education' programme. To feel safe through the support and guidance of named professionals within the school, eg School Listener, Child protection Officer.
Enjoy and Achieve
Through a stimulating and challenging curriculum, alongside extra-curricular activities offered to all pupils, we encourage all our learners to enjoy and achieve their full potential at school.
Make a Positive Contribution
Children are encouraged to take part in some decision making within the school, eg the school council. We support the children in learning positive behaviour in and out of school, encouraging them to choose not to bully or discriminate. We foster independence and help the children to develop self-confidence to meet life's opportunities and challenges.
Achieve Economic Well-being
Every child is able to take advantage of all opportunities to develop self confidence and learning skills to equip them for the future.
