The main school building contains two teaching areas, an all-purpose hall,
a library, the dining room and kitchen. A separate building, the former
head master’s house, contains a third teaching area, the staff room, the
head teacher’s office and the administrative office.
We are lucky to have larger gardens than most schools as well as our own
playing fields. The grounds also include a special environmental area for
the children to study plants and minibeasts. We have the usual range of
P.E. equipment, outdoor games and electronic equipment, including a
generous number of computers. Each classroom has an interactive
whiteboard.
We visit local and more distant places of interest and attach considerable
importance to older children taking part in residential visits at outdoor
centres. |
