Henbury View was built in 1992 with spacious open plan teaching bases. With the national requirements for whole class teaching in Literacy and Numeracy the school has added glazed screens between the year groups but with the option of opening up specially designed doors to retain the advantages of the larger space.

At Henbury View First School we believe in the importance of providing all our children with a high quality education. We are committed to inclusion and to providing a positive learning environment, which enables every child to make progress and experience success.

  • To work in partnership with parents.
  • For every child to develop into a Confident, independent, and successful learner who feels secure and valued.
  • To work towards preparing pupils for their life in the world so that children develop a knowledge of what will be expected of them; how they will be challenged, and what they are capable of.
