Hill View Primary School is a Community school situated in Ensbury Park, a residential area of Bournemouth. We are a three form entry school and from September 2007 will have 621 pupils between the ages of 4 and 11 years.

At Hill View Primary School it is our aim to create for everyone a happy, secure and stimulating learning environment.

For our children we will encourage a love of learning, develop their independence and self-discipline and their respect for themselves, for others and for our world.

We will provide a rich, broad and balanced curriculum, which will teach academic, social and aesthetic skills and seek to fulfil each individual's potential.

We aim to prepare our children for their role as responsible, confident members of a multi-cultural society in an ever-changing world.

Various clubs and activities take place throughout the year at Hill View Primary School. The teachers run them within their own time so that each child will have the opportunity to attend an extra-curricular activity that interests them. These include sporting activities such as badminton, table tennis, hockey, basketball and football. There are also non-sporting activities such as Grid Club and Guitar Club. The children have great fun and benefit from experiences that might not otherwise be available to them.
