One of the best teams in the County, The Gryphon School
Learning Support department works across the curriculum
supporting students in the classroom as well as in the
Learning Support Centre. The Gryphon School Special Educational
Needs (SEN) policy states that all students are entitled to a broad,
balanced, relevant and differentiated education. Structures and systems
are in place to ensure equality of opportunity for all. Identification,
assessment and provision arrangements for students who require
additional provision, whether statemented or not and including those
who attend the dyslexia base, are central to the policy.
The Dyslexia Centre
Specialised support for severely dyslexic pupils who, with help, can
cope within a normal school environment.
