Dalreoch Primary School is situated in King's Way in the Castlehill district of Dumbarton. It was opened in 1955 to replace the old school at Westbridgend, Dumbarton. The building enjoys a beautiful position, with extensive playgrounds and a panoramic view of the Dumbarton area which extends from the Erskine Bridge towards Ben Lomond.
The stages covered in the school are Primary 1 to Primary 7. The school roll at present is just over 100. The school is non-denominational and co-educational.
The West Dunbartonshire Early Intervention Department( Early Education) and Music Co-ordinator are based in the school.
The school also houses the West Dunbartonshire Mobile Creche and two of the classrooms are used by West Dunbartonshire and Haldane Out of School Care facility.
