ABOUT US

Our school is a pleasent, modern semi-open plan building with bright airy carpeted classrooms and spacious ancillary accommodation. Large playgrounds and a sports field surround the building.

The school is forward looking, innovative and fully committed to a wide range of education programms to suit the varying needs of the pupils. The school endeavours to create in the pupils an awareness of the world around them, encourage them to reach their full potential and help cope with any challanges and decisions they will have to make in the future. Senior pupils have the opportunity to take advantage of the extra-curricular activities including athletics, football and netball.

Knoxland is associated with Dumbarton Academy and all nurseries and pre-5 centres in the area.

The school is involved in local community activites and has links with businesses, senior citizens, churches and other agencies.

Knoxland has both a school board and Parent Teacher Association, which are very supportive indeed. Parent helpers assist in classes.

We are proud of our long history and our tradition of sound education - a tradition we feel is continued today
