ABOUT US

Lawside R.C. Academy is a denominational Secondary school that services the North West of Dundee. Associated primary schools are St. Clement’s, St. Fergus’, St. Columba’s and St. Margaret’s. Lawside R.C. Academy services the residential areas of Charleston, Buttars Loan, Ardler, Brackens, St. Mary’s, Kirkton, Downfield, Dalclaverhouse and Camperdown.

The School is widely used as a locus for community activities by the local community both sporting and otherwise.

Each evening the school is used for swimming, dancing, meetings etc.

At Lawside R.C. Academy, inspired by the Gospel of Jesus, our main aims are:

• To provide relevant, worthwhile and enjoyable education for all.
• To create a place where everyone is valued, cared for and feels safe.
• To encourage and take pride in the achievements, efforts and generosity of all.
• To ensure that we have a responsible attitude to ourselves, to others, to education and our school.
• To provide good resources for the support of education and development in our community.
