| ABOUT US
Built in 1933, St Anne's Primary School has served the community of Cadzow and surrounding area for over 70 years. It is a mature single storey bulding set in a quiet tree-lined area next door to Our Lady and St Anne's R.C.Church, relatively near the centre of Hamilton. There is a happy welcoming atmosphere in the school and children learn well in a secure and happy environment. Parents, friends and visitors are welcomed when visiting St. Anne's.
The school is due for replacement and this summer a new building will commence on the same site and be completed for August 2008.

| In St. Anne's we aim to create a bright, stimulating, caring climate in which each child is offered a high quality learning experience through effective teaching of an extensive balanced curriculum.
There is a happy and secure environment in which each child can work and play and we try to ensure that each child feels valued and is given every opportunity to fulfil his/her potential. We strive to develop in our pupils lifetime skills and attitudes which will make them future responsible citizens in society. We also promote caring attitudes towards others within school and in the wider community.
|
| In St. Anne's our aspirations for all children are that they should be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors to society and at work. By providing structure, support and direction to our children's learning, the curriculum should enable them to develop these four capacities. The curriculum should complement the important contributions of families and communities.
|
| In St. Anne's we are keen to enrich the education of our children by involving them in our local and global communities. We encourage visitors into our school and arrange lots of visits for our pupils, including a residential week for our P.7 pupils at Winmarleigh Activity Centre.
