Ashton Sixth Form College is now the only independent sixth form college in Tameside.

We are committed to remaining an independent college, providing the choice that so many students and parents opt for. Sixth form education bridges the gap from school to higher education or the employment market. Students can enjoy just the right amount of freedom, whilst still remaining in the caring and friendly environment that is unique to a sixth form college, situated on a single site, specializing in courses for 16 to 19 year olds.
