As with all specialist colleges, we still offer the full National Curriculum. The Business and Enterprise focus means that our work in all subjects will increasingly have a business influence and we will seek to develop entrepreneurial skills. This is very relevant as we engage in the regeneration of Blackpool.

We will continue to be a small to medium size school of around 700 pupils. This gives parents the option of selecting a school where their child will be known as an individual and be able to maximise their opportunities.

We are an inclusive school and welcome all pupils. Some pupils need the extra support that our celebrated Special Needs and Inclusion staff can give.

The Centre has been fully operational since April 2006 and houses a range of exciting facilities to provide extended school services and opportunities for the community.

The main features of the centre are Community training facilities offering a range of adult learning programmes, Headmasters Hairsalon, a Community Café, Stepping Stones Integration programme, and an OfSted inspected nursery. The centre also has close links with Homestart, Surestart and local health agencies to promote and support family well-being and learning.

We are a 46 place nursery which provides high quality childcare and education for children aged between 0-5 years all year round.

We are open from 8am to 6pm with flexible sessions including full day care. We also offer the Free Nursery Education sessions for children the term after their third birthday. These sessions are 9am to 11.30am or 1pm to 3.30pm for a maximum of 5 sessions a week for 38 weeks per year.

All our staff are qualified Early Years Practitioners.

We are extremely fortunate in that we have a part-time Lead Practitioner (Early Years Teacher) who leads the practice in the nursery working with both children and staff.
