ABOUT US

Our school offers a primary education for children between the ages of four and eleven years. The school is situated in the village of Gregson Lane, a pleasant semi-rural area of Lancashire, some four miles east of Preston and six miles from Blackburn and Chorley.

The school actively seeks to promote a positive ethos within a safe and happy working environment, where effective learning can take place. Within this framework of support and respect, children are encouraged to show good manners and tolerance, to be polite and self-disciplined and to aim to achieve their full potential.

Our aims for learning and teaching are that children will:

• Learn the knowledge, skills and concepts needed to achieve to their full potential.

We offer a primary education to all our pupils. The aims and values of the school pervade all the work of the school, including its curriculum. The school exists to give your child every opportunity to develop the abilities he or she possesses.
