ABOUT US

Coupe Green Primary School is situated in the village of Hoghton not far from Preston. It was opened in 1975 and is set in a quiet, semi-rural position. Coupe Green is a Primary School currently catering for approximately 112 children from the age of 4 to 11 years.

All children follow schemes based on the National Curriculum.

They study the Core Subjects - English, Maths, Science, Information and Communication Technology, and R.E., as well as the Foundation Subjects - History, Geography, Art, Music, P.E. and Design Technology.

By the time they leave Primary School, the Government expects most of the children to be working at Level 4 in English, Maths and Science.
