WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL!!!

We aim to give each child at Fir Bank the best possible chance to achieve his or her full potential. We do this by:

• creating a caring and secure environment
• encouraging children to value their own achievements and those of others
• developing an enthusiastic attitude towards learning
• providing a curriculum which is broad and balanced and in line with National Curriculum requirements

• think and reason for themselves
• take responsibility for their own actions
• care about others and the environment

The curriculum delivered is based on the framework of the National Curriculum.

CORE SUBJECTS

English, Maths, Science, I.C.T. and RE.

The staff and some parents provide a range of out of school activities. These clubs vary from term to term. We usually offer some or all of the following:

Football Training, Cheerleading, Netball, ICT Club, Rounders, Hockey, Chess, Cookery, Martial Arts.

A French club also meets after school each week, although fees are payable for this class.

Kevyn’s soccer school also runs in school each week. Fees are payable direct to Kevyn.
