The Greenbank building itself has classrooms and work areas much larger than normal and the added bonuses of a well equipped separate gymnasium, large hall and separate dining rooms.
The playground is extremely well equipped with all kinds of stimulating activities. For outside games activities there is a multi-use sports area (this is available for hire outside school times).
The school is very well equipped with a
computer suite, interactive whiteboards, and digital projectors, computers in classrooms, videos, TV and overhead projectors. These facilities enable us to offer a wide range of activities in a stimulating, pleasant environment.
The overriding aim of Greenbank School is to enable children to achieve the very highest standards in every area of activity at the school. Furthermore, we seek to provide children with an education which promotes interracial understanding, develops mutual respect and promotes positive images of minority ethnic groups.
The curriculum involves Literacy, Numeracy, Science, I.C.T. (Information and Computer Technology), Religious Education, Design and Technology, History, Geography, Music, Art and Physical Education.
Activities include painting, music, singing and physical education in the well equipped gym or in the hall.
