Lancaster Lane is a community primary school with an excellent reputation situated in Clayton-le-Woods, Leyland, Lancashire. There is the opportunity for before and after school care outside the normal school day. Our 'Early Learners' pre-school group is open to children ages 3 and 4 years who are due to start in our main school the following year.

We have an established pre-school class, know as 'Early Learners', which is open five afternoons per week 1.00 until 3.30 for the children in the year before they start in our Reception class. It is organised by two qualified staff. Ofsted and Social Services inspections have noted the very good work being carried out in the class.

Charges are currently £5.00 per session but grants are available to some families.

Stoppers and Early Starts are breakfast and after school clubs available to all Lancaster Lane children from reception to year 6. They are both run by qualified staff and are open every school day. Breakfast club starts at 7:45am. The children are given a healthy breakfast. Stoppers after school club starts at 3.30pm until 5.45pm. Here the children are offered a wide range of activities such as Art and Craft, baking, computer games and lots more. Early Starts breakfast club is £2.50 per session. Stoppers After school Club is £5.50 per session with a reduction for brothers/sisters.
