ABOUT US
The school opened in January 1965 as the first phase of a two-form entry Junior Mixed and Infants School. A separate Infants school was built on the same campus in a second phase development in 1969. Because of "falling rolls" the Infants School closed in 1981. All children are now taught in the one building, once again, and the school has changed to a well attended, one-form entry County Primary School.
The school has eight large classrooms surrounding an open quadrangle, containg shrubs, a pond (well populated with frogs!!), flower beds and a bird table. This is an ideal area for children to read at leisure or sit quietly during break times as an alternative to the 'hurly-burly' of the playground.
