Rossall Senior School is a very special place - a wonderful mix of learning opportunities, activities, people, languages and cultures. Working together and playing together, Rossall Senior School pupils receive a unique educational experience that leads to a well-rounded appreciation of – and approach to – all that life has to offer.
At Year 10 and 11, your son or daughter will move into Senior School where they will mix with pupils from Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 and some of these children will be from countries all over the world. Rossall Senior School is the most culturally diverse school in Lancashire and provides pupils with a unique opportunity to develop their world view.
They will continue to attend co-educational academic classes and extra-curricular activities but they will receive pastoral care and support from within their single sex Houses within The Square. Each of the Senior School houses is run by a Houseparent who is supported by a set of House Tutors.
There are 6 Senior School Houses at Rossall. Every effort is maintained to create suitable pupil balance within them: this means a boarding house may well contain a few day pupils in certain year groups.
