ABOUT US

Rumworth School (formerly Woodside Senior School) is designated a school for children with complex needs and moderate learning difficulties. Admission is via Bolton Childrens' Services. The school has had three very successful Ofsted reports (1996, 2000 and 2006). In September 2001 the school became a Beacon School. In 2004 we became a Leading Edge school.

Rumworth School underwent refurbishment to provide superb facilities for its 140 pupils who have complex needs and moderate learning difficulties.

• 20 teaching rooms including specialist rooms for each National Curriculum subject
• 2 fully-equipped Technology rooms and a science lab
• a large ICT suite as well as networked PCs in each room
• Sixth Form Suite (comprising and entire floor)
