ABOUT US

Rydings is a co-educational day special school catering for children aged 5-16 years who mainly have moderate learning difficulties (there are also several children with emotional and behavioural difficulties or severe learning difficulties).

• We are a school devoted to raising the self-esteem of children with special educational needs.
• We aspire to a secure, supportive and stimulating environment, where justice, tolerance, forgiveness and generosity are practised with courtesy, consideration and common sense.
• We believe that each person should be known, loved and valued, and by encouragement realise his or her full potential through positive involvement and achievement.
