Academic Schools

The University comprises eight schools:

An Institute for the Environment and Special Research Institutes

We also have a Graduate School which co-ordinates postgraduate admissions, courses and facilities.

The academic year is based on three periods of study a year: two teaching terms of 12 weeks each and a third, shorter, examinations and assessment term. All taught courses have a modular structure.
