The International Office
The International Office provides support to overseas students throughout their stay. The Office organizes an induction programme and acts as a focus for students whilst they are at the University. Students can come and see the International Student Support Officer to discuss any concerns they may have or to ask any questions. The International Student Officer arranges a social programme including local excursions and visits to London and other European capitals.
Many international students join the University for three-year degree programmes whilst others come for a one-year postgraduate course or for shorter periods and the International Office processes all international student admissions into the University.
As well as having internationally minded support staff in the International Office to help international students with their study visit, a significant number of the University's academic staff have international skills in teaching and research and undertake overseas teaching assignments and consultancies. |
