About...
St. Saviour's CofE Junior School is located in Larkhall, on the eastern edge of Bath and is a Church of England voluntary controlled school.
There are approximately 190 children on the roll, organised into seven classes. The classes are housed in an interesting variety of buildings, the oldest being the original Victorian school and the newest added quite recently. The school has its own kitchens and canteen, providing hot meals for the children at lunch-time, a fiction and reference library, modern ICT suite and a large hall equipped with PE apparatus.
The majority of our children transfer from our partner, St. Saviour's Infant School, with whom we have close liason and collaboration. Our older children may then move on to St Mark's CofE Secondary School, just across the road.
We believe in the concept of lifelong learning and the idea that both adults and children learn new things every day. We maintain that learning should be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for everyone. We believe that through appropriate teaching and learning experiences, we equip children with the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to be able to make informed choices and help them to lead happy and rewarding lives.
As a Church of England school, we also have close links with our parish church St. Saviours, Larkhall.
