Welcome to our wonderful school in which the children are at the centre of everything we do. It is such a vibrant and exciting place in which to learn and we have such fun.
There are three key stages in school Foundation, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two through which the children pass seamlessly before transferring to Middle school.
We believe that young children deserve a special environment that is fun and safe which is the kind of place Lark Rise is.
All adults are calm and seek to bring out the talents of the children through discussion and negotiation.
All parents are partners in the education of their children and we involve them in the planning stages of our work.
The healthy child is also a good learner and it is through encouraging a healthy lifestyle both in and out of school that aids our success.
Academic progress and attainment is crucial for survival in the twenty first century and it is for that reason that we encourage the highest possible standards in literacy and numeracy.
A stable emotional environment is provided so that the children know the boundaries and thrive. Our school dog Charlie helps us to keep the school calm and supports those who need some tender loving care.
