Curriculum and Year Group Information

Our curriculum has been carefully designed to cover the National Curriculum using themes which exploit the links between subjects to offer a programme which is creative, exciting, enjoyable and which motivates the children to learn.  OFSTED described it as "innovative and outstanding", offering a broad and balanced programe with many opportunities for enrichment activities.  We believe children learn best when they are engaged in practical activities; so we take them out on trips to museums, country parks and historical sites, and include opportunities for drama, practical science and history re-enactments as often as possible.  Our children achieve high standards in all areas of the curriculum, and are engaged and highly motivated.
