Cedars is a large, vibrant and exciting school. Our mission, quite simply is to continue to develop as:

Learning for all is our core business, and we believe that school, parents, governors and the
community must work together for the maximum benefit of the young people entrusted to our care.

There are many exciting developments at the school, including from September 2006, designation as a Specialist College for Mathematics and Computing. This will include a developing strategic relationship with Microsoft as a Microsoft Sponsored School, as well as other industry and community partners.

As a large school, we are able to offer an exceptional range of courses and qualifications and
experiences to meet the needs and aspirations of young people. Many adults and students will also participate in community education through our Specialist School community programme.

All of these opportunities combine to support our overarching drive to "Maximise Achievement".
