Full Service Extended School

What is a Full Service Extended School?

An Extended School provides a range of services and activities, before, during or beyond the school, day, to help meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community.

“To reduce underachievement and improve the life chances of children and young people by enhancing their educational development and fostering their health, well-being and social inclusion through the integrated delivery of support and services necessary to ensure every child has the best start in life.”

At all stages throughout school we aim to provide a progressive and varied curriculum that is accessible to all our pupils.

The core subjects of the Key stage 3 curriculum provide a solid foundation for the academic or vocational routes chosen in key stage 4 and post 16.
