A MESSAGE FROM THE HEADTEACHER
In September 1991, Wildridings Primary School opened as a new school created from the amalgamation of the Nursery, Infant and Junior Schools which were built here in the mid 1960's.
A new administration building was completed during the Summer 1991 which physically joins the two main buildings and this forms the centre of the new school. We celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of education on this site in 1998.
Most people are kind enough to say that Wildridings is a happy school and we will do our best to see that your child is happy here - usually it is happy children who learn quickly and gain most from their education. We hope you will share our view that education is a partnership between the home and the school.
Our aim is to develop the whole child and produce individuals who are literate and numerate. Young people who, having been exposed to a wide range of activities, experiences and opportunities, can contribute to the society in which they live in a confident, positive and fulfilling way. Starting a new school is without doubt a very exciting time.
By working together we can make sure that your child has a successful and happy time here.
As part of our continuing commitment to raising standards and providing a better service, we have an agreement that has been drawn up by parents, governors, teachers and children. Its aim is to further develop the partnership that is essential to the successful education of your child.
