Girls: Pleated or A-line grey/black skirt of acceptable length for a school environment (please buy knee length to allow for growth) or grey/black trousers (not leggings), white blouse/polo shirt, bottle green school sweatshirt or bottle green cardigan/jumper. Checked or striped green dress in summer.

Sensible traditional flat shoes (NOT trainers or boots) that should be plain and a dark colour. Sandals may be worn but they should be properly fitted, flat-heeled, non-fashion sandals in black, brown, navy and white that enable the children to take an active role in school life. Grey or white plain socks or tights (even in summer!).

Boys: Grey/black trousers or traditional grey shorts (NOT sports shorts), white shirt/polo shirt, bottle green school sweatshirt or bottle green sweater/jumper.

Sensible traditional flat shoes (NOT trainers) that should be plain and a dark colour. Sandals as above. Grey or white socks (even in summer!).

A sweatshirt, cardigan, polo shirt and a T-shirt with the school logo on are available through the school.

No jewellery except for one pair or single plain ‘gold’ or ‘silver’ ear studs (worn in the ear lobe) and watches. (No responsibility can be taken for watches or ear studs during P.E.).

Hair: Styles should be appropriate and no shorter than a No 2 cut. Colours should be within the natural range. Extreme styles are not acceptable.
Please ensure that all hair ornaments are plain and simple. Fancy plastic clips can be dangerous. No bright colours please.

All pupils will need suitable clothing for P.E. and games. This needs to be in school every day.

Indoors: Black shorts, white T-shirt. For safety reasons, most work is done with bare feet.

Outdoors: Black shorts, white T-shirt, change of socks, warm top layer for winter (e.g. tracksuit or old jersey).

Training shoes or plimsolls

For safety reasons, all shorts/T-shirts must be plain pull-on types with no buttons, belts, strings or loops etc. No logos please.

Again for safety reasons, the children will be required to remove ear studs during P.E./games sessions, or to cover them up with plasters or tape provided by yourself.
