Welcome to the Winslow School

We hope that you enjoy the Winslow School Website. We have a lot of information as well as fun things to do.

Our aim is to keep the site interesting and to keep you informed of the latest news.  This half of the site is written by children, for children. If you have anything that you would like to see on our website please tell your teacher. Enjoy.

Joke of the Week

What do Sheep do on Sunny Days?

Have a Baa - Baa - Cue!!

As pupils of this school we are encouraged to eat healthily and as well as take regular exercise and not sit in front of the television all of the time.

The children in the lower school (Nursery-Yr2) are now able to enjoy 'Fresh Fruit & Veg' everyday as part of a brilliant new scheme introduced earlier this year.  So far everyone is really enjoying it and the mini carrots are definitely the favourites!

Click here to see our Fruit and Veg Scheme in action

There are lots of healthy foods in our world, make use of them and EAT THEM!!!!! Try Perfect Peppers, Fabulous Fish as well as many other lovely foods that are also healthy.

In the playground you will find lots of things to do.

Including: football, basketball, puzzles, quizzes and much more.

A Message From Our Headteacher...

Winslow provides a high quality teaching and learning environment with high standards and achievements within a Church of England School.

We are a much larger than average primary school catering for children of different abilities and aspire to provide a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils.

Key Stage 1 and 2 results and achievements are consistently above national expectations.  Our 11+ results are well above the average.

As well as our high levels of achievement we offer children a wide range of extra curricular activities and visit opportunities.

'Buzz Club' offers the high quality provision for extended care.  Children can attend from 7.30am until school begins and after school until 6.00pm.  Ofsted refer to the provision as "Outstanding".
