Filsham Valley School is an 11 to 18, fully inclusive school and promotes the pursuit of excellence for all its pupils within a caring and supportive environment.
At the heart of the school is its inclusiveness, where our commitment to succeeding together and releasing entrepreneurial potential is shown through every aspect of its life, particularly in the quality of the relationships we engender and promote. These relationships not only look inwards but also reflect out to the wider community. The school values diversity and is sensitive to the range of traditions and cultures represented in the locality.
A team of OfSTED inspectors visited Filsham Valley School in March 2005. The team of staff here work extremely hard and we are very proud of the school and the improvements that we are making. The team reported that:
“This is an improving school. Most pupils achieve well, because the good teaching helps them to learn and to grow in self-confidence in this very inclusive school. The headteacher gives very good leadership, is supported well by her senior team, and this is bringing about improvements and raising standards.
