Parent Teachers and Friends Association

Red Lake PTFA is made up of a handful of volunteer parents who are supported by the teachers and the Head of the school.

Our main aim is to raise as much money as possible at our many events, such as discos and Summer/Christmas Fayres, so that it can be ploughed straight back into the school.

The children have benefited from this in several ways. Some of the items that the school has purchased from our funds are: parasols with bases, SMART boards, scooters and bikes for the Nursery children, the fish tank, chairs for the ICT suite and Oxford Reading Tree books to name but a few.

The next exciting project and what we are mainly focusing on now is the ‘Playground Equipment Fund’. In the main reception area near the office there is a huge thermometer which will keep track of joint progress with the school in reaching our target.

We are always looking for more members to help us on our way. So if you have some spare time you will be warmly welcomed into our happy bunch.
