  • Create a happy school environment based upon Christian standards.
  • Provide a basic command of English through reading and writing, and develop the ability to communicate with, and understand, others.
  • Develop the children’s knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of science.
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of basic mathematical operations.
  • Provide children with skills in technology.
  • Ensure all areas of the National Curriculum are taught through a combination of subject and topic teaching.
  • Help children learn the importance of manners, courtesy and consideration for others.
  • Encourage children’s independence and create a desire for knowledge through first hand experience.
