Whitehill Infant School
Whitehill is a three-form entry purpose built infant school situated in a semi-rural position within Crowborough, East Sussex. The school was originally positioned on Whitehill Road in Crowborough hence the school's name but in April 1998 we moved to our new site on Luxford Road. At Whitehill we believe that children learn most effectively when they feel happy, secure and experience success. We have a committed team who work closely together to create a warm and friendly atmosphere where every individual is welcomed. Excellence starts with environment and we are privileged to have a beautiful school and wildlife area that enhances the learning potential of every individual. The school has a strong eco policy and we hold the second eco flag displayed at the front entrance to the school. We are the only infant school in East Sussex to have achieved this. Whitehill Infant is the feeder school for Herne Junior School and we work very closely together ensuring that the children's transition from Year 2 to Year 3 is as seamless as possible.
We currently have 7 classes comprising of 3 Foundation stage and 4 Year 1/2 mixed classes. All our classes are named after wildlife.
