Floods Report

School re-opens Tuesday 4th September 2007

Nursery re-opens Monday 10th September 2007

Rokeby Park School, Hull, seen from the air.

As we continue to get back to normal after the floods, we are now able to offer tuck once more. We will be selling Humdingers mini-snacks (20p) and Capri Sonne drinks (30p) with effect from Thursday 20th September. Drinks and snacks are 'healthy options' and contain no artificial flavourings, colours, preservatives or added sugar. As you will already know, we are fully committed to being a healthy school and to the well-being of your children. If you would like your children to enjoy tuck, please send the money each morning, or save yourself time by making a once-a-week payment in advance.

DRESS CODE

The Governing Body require that all pupils of Rokeby Park School adhere to their dress code and wear the designated schools uniform. To make it as easy as possible for parents to obtain a school uniform, all uniform items are available for purchase (at cost price) from the school reception. At busy times such as the start of a new school year, parents may find it easier to order a uniform for their child(ren) well in advance.

The uniform consists of grey or black trousers (not track suit bottoms) or skirts and a blue sweatshirt or T-shirt (available for purchase in school). Blue check dresses may be worn in suitable weather.

Jewellery
The wearing of jewellery is resricted to studs in the ears only. These must be covered securley during PE lessons. No other jewellery is permited in school. Body piercings, other than in the ears, may not be worn in school. Watches may be worn but they are the sole responsibility of the child.

Outdoor Shoes
Outdoor shoes should be low heeled. Sandshoes (available for purchase in school) must be worn inside the school.

Physical Education (PE)
All children are required to have a T-shirt and shorts ofr PE lessons. They should be kept in a named shoe bag (available for purchase in school).
