Carrick Knowe opened in 1954 and we celebrated our golden jubilee in December 2004. We have a strong tradition to build on and the continuing developments within the school ensure that this is strengthened further to allow our pupils to progress and successfully cope with any challenges presented to them.

Our mission statement and aims should give you a clear picture of what we are striving towards. It is our sincere wish that all our children enjoy being here from the moment they enrol in the nursery until they transfer to the secondary school.

During that time we hope to equip our children with the skills that will allow them to cope with an ever-changing world. We also want to encourage in them good citizenship that will manifest itself in a caring attitude to their community and society as a whole. There are many opportunities available for you to have questions answered or have concerns aired. I hope you will not hesitate to be in touch if any matters arise that you need to discuss or have explored.
