School Aims

• To maximise pupil attainment through setting targets; raising standards and high quality learning and teaching.

• To develop Faith Formation and Personal & Social Development, to establish a sense of self-worth and value.

• To further develop close communications with the parents and the wider community of the school.

• To provide nursery pupils with a stimulating and educational learning enviroment, to support individual's social development.

• To achieve all of the above within the welcoming, supportive, secure ethos.

The areas of studies to be covered by your child over the coming years will consist of the subjects covered in the 5-14 National Curriculum Programme and used throughout the country.

All children have the right to feel safe and secure at school but also need to understand that this applies to others as well as themselves. It is important that they realise everyone is a person of value. Self- Esteem is something each child is encouraged to believe in and this is reinforced by our staff. The management team and school staff have developed a positive behaviour management policy.

Be respectful and considerate to others at work and play.
Everyone should treat others as they would want to be treated.
Have pride in yourself and the school.
Always follow instructions.
Value others and co-operate with them.
Ensure you are well mannered.

Each class is actively encouraged to design their own classroom values which are displayed around and outside the classroom.
