Home Parents Newsletters Our Classes About Us

Essex, our Local Authority, is co-ordinating the admission of all primary pupils into their school places for the academic year 2006/2007 and the following years.

  • There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admissions area.
  • Children attending the partner infant school who submit an application form by the closing date will be allocated a place at the school.
  • In the event of over-subscription any remaining place will be allocated using the following criteria-
    1. Children living in the priority admissions area who do not attend the partner infant school;
    2. Children living outside the priority admissions area who do not attend the partner infant school but have a sibling attending the junior school;
    3. Remaining applications.

If over-subscribed following the above then priority will be given to looked after children and then be determined by straight-line distance from home to school. Exceptional medical circumstances may over-ride the above.
