At Chase Lane Primary School & Nursery we pride ourselves on the excellent progress that pupils make across all areas of the curriculum. We value the importance of basic skills in literacy and numeracy in order for pupils to access other areas for their development and enjoyment. At Chase Lane Primary School & Nursery we are innovative in our approach to education and will seek new initiatives such as collaboration with football teams, businesses and other educational establishments to maximise opportunities for pupils, parents and staff.

Our success is reflected in the awards we have obtained which include: Lottery awards, Basic Skills Quality Mark Award, Football Association Chartered Standard, Safer Journeys to School, Healthy School award, Investors in People, DfES School Achievement Award and the International School Award.

We encourage everyone within the school community to develop their full potential and value everyone's contribution.

The activities we offer are rich and varied, ranging from sports to languages where every individual has the opportunity to shine.

Mrs D Carter Headteacher

We aim to:

-          To provide a creative curriculum, which recognises individual needs and talents.

-          To ensure pupils develop the essential literacy and numeracy skills they need to learn.

-          To ensure all pupils have the chance to personally develop and succeed.

-          To provide equal opportunities to all pupils regardless of sex, race, social background, disability and religion.

-          To inspire enthusiasm and commitment to learning and to take pride in their achievements.

-          To promote an awareness of their responsibility, both in their own school, community and beyond.

-          To promote positive attitudes to health including sport and physical activities.

-          To work in partnerships with other schools and groups.
